I recently moved to Fremont, CA. And have many years of experience babysitting various age groups and I have taught science summer programs to ages 5-18. I also have a daughter, who recently graduated from college. I raised my daughter to be involved in extra curricular activities, e.g., photography, sports, tutoring and play dates. So, I understand the challenges of a work life balance. I believe I can provide a caring, creative, educational environment that helps children thrive and become the best people they can be. I currently hold a BS in Biology and am 2 courses shy of a Masters in Forensic Science. I work weekdays as an Application Trainer, but I would like to fund my Compliance exam that’s why I’m seeking additional employment. I will do my best to create a nurturing and engaging environment for your child. My Spanish and Portuguese speaking skills are a little Read more rusty, but I may be able to assist with basic Spanish homework. My standard childcare rate is $20 per hour. * This includes childcare, entertainment or homework supervision, following basic daily routines, standard meal prep and cleaning any “mess” we make as a result of babysitting. ** I am respectful of allergy concerns, please be aware that I consume peanut products and I own a dog.** I have served as a “Course Life Assistant” to college students on ecosystem and field study trips in Central America. In this capacity, I was responsible for offering basic first aid and CPR, if needed. Although I have been CPR certified, I haven’t yet renewed this certification. *Additional services can range for up to $40 per hour. Rates beyond $20 account for additional services and requests, e.g., household chores, tutoring, extensive services required for disabilities and pet care. --I am Trustline certified. TrustLine is a database of nannies and baby-sitters that have cleared criminal background checks in California.
