I am a 22 year old recent graduate from San Francisco State University where got my degree in Child Development (emphasis in School Age and Family) with a minor in Spanish. I grew up in the East Bay and have been living in San Francisco for three years now after returning from a yearlong study abroad program in Mexico during my Sophomore year of college. I started helping my older sister babysit at the age of 12 and started watching neighbors, friends, and family’s children on my own when I began High School at 14. Before moving to San Francisco I watched my neighbor’s children in Fremont from birth to ages 4 and 5. It has been such a joy to watch them grow up even though sometimes I miss being able to carry them up the stairs and hearing them say titchen dowder instead of kitchen counter, as they Read more grow up they still continue to make me laugh. There is a right and a wrong way to Television when it comes to children but while I babysit/nanny I avoid it preferring parks, sidewalk chalk, stories, and the best kind of games (the ones made up by your children) over T.V. any day of the week. I love caring for all ages and have experience in infant care as well. The family I currently spend most of my time with have three boys, currently 5, 7 and almost 9 years old whom I have been with consistently since August of 2009. I adore them and feel so lucky to have been able to grow with them and their family. Now that I am a college grad and the three boys are all getting older and are in school for the full day I am free Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays after 1:30pm and weekends. I am looking forward to a new semester this fall as I begin to prepare for an education in the nursing/health care fields. If you are looking for consistent date night sitter, send me a message!
