I am a current college student at Clovis Community College and I am 19. I am studying psychology and child development. I have 7 years of childcare experience. Some has been paid while some was unpaid. I have worked at my local church in the first and second grade classrooms. I have babysat a group of 5-7 year olds while their moms where in book-club. I also build experience everyday I have two little sisters that are 3 and 7 years old. I have helped with them since they were newborns for the past 7 years. I am well versed in having fun with the kids but in a way that helps them learn and grow. I love having little sisters because it grows my imagination to the fullest so it is easy for me to get creative with activities, games, or tackling homework/sports practices. Also in high school I was in Collaborative Mentoring all 4 years, which means one of my class periods was fully dedicated to working one on one with special needs children ranging from 14-18. When I am not helping out with kids, I take time to workout, work at my current jobs, and spend time with friends and family either out in nature, at church, or simply at home! I am CPR and First Aid certified and I will be renewing those shortly because they do soon expire. I am also skilled in meal prep, diaper changes, potty training, obtain my own car, organized activities, and all around support!
