Hi. I have been taking care of children for over 10 years now and have loved every minute of it. My experience includes part-time help, full-time nanny, occasional babysitting, and country club youth activities coordinator for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and elementary school children. I don' t mind light housework, laundry, meal prep, cooking, or running errands. My job is to do all that I can to make sure your household is running as smoothly as possible, so you always return to a clean, calm, and well managed home every time. Before moving to LA to pursue my graduate degree, I was a full time nanny to an amazing family in Chicago. I was with them 10/12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, for three and a half years. I'm still very close to the family and can provide a letter of recommendation upon request. While in Chicago I was Read more employed as trained caregiver through K Grace Childcare, and have training and experience with children of all ages. I have a BA in Theater Arts from Appalachian State University and an MFA in Acting from CalArts. I am full of energy and love planning events and activities for kids; children are never bored with me. I believe a nanny/sitter should be a playmate, friend, caretaker, educator, and role model. I strive to create and maintain a nurturing, educational and fun environment for children and it would be my pleasure to care for your little ones. I currently teach one class at CalArts on Tuesdays, so my availability does not include Tuesdays until the end of the academic term.
