Hi, I'm Leyana. I'm 19-years-old and a sophomore in college. Ever since high school, I have voluntarily babysat at my church's nursery whenever needed, ranging from kids 2-12 years old. Now, I have been put in charge of coordinating the kid's nursery--doing things like coming up with activities for them, creating schedules for the supervisors, communicating with parents, kids, and their supervisors to make sure all their needs are met, and everything in between. I have grown to be able to work with kids better overtime and have genuinely enjoyed the entire process. Growing up, I didn't have any younger siblings so instead, I would babysit cousins and family friend's kids. Parents would trust me to watch over their kids and kids would naturally love me. Now, having watched those same kids I would reoccurring babysit over the years, we still maintain a strong bond.
