As the mother of a successfulteacher, I myself feel successful. I worked a full-time job while raising an intelligent, compassionate, oh-so-witty child. She is my pride and joy, and she has been my teacher throughout her life. Because of her and her friends, I have gained an appreciation and insight of children of all ages, from infancy through young adulthood. I sacrificed (willingly) to give my daughter the best of myself, and I was well rewarded by being her parent. I am 68, but most people guess that I am much younger. I am in superb health, I walk and exercise daily, plus I work full-time as the manager of a film rental studio. Plus, I write on the side. I keep my brain and body active. I am well traveled and well educated, which only leaves me hungry to learn more. I adore children, and until I become a Read more grandmother, I must enjoy them vicariously through my friends who are grandparents and through babysitting. I am responsible, reliable, patient, engaging, and a slew of other positive adjectives. A child or children in my care are safe and well tended.
