Hi! I’m Dannika. I’ve been a nanny for 8 years. I have helped raise my sister’s two children (now 10 and 13) since they were toddlers, alongside several long-term nanny positions with other families. I’m warm, patient, and love creating days full of exploration, play, and learning. Most recently I have cared for a little girl from 4 months old to 1 1/2. She has recently transitioned to daycare and I’ll miss her so! Before that I cared for a little girl from 4 months to 2½ years old. Our days included walks, library trips, park time, art projects, sensory and language play (we called them “color walks”), and plenty of dance parties to the Moana soundtrack. I enjoy planning age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity and development, and I’m comfortable with infant routines like feeding and naps (can help with sleep training) as well as toddler milestones such as potty Read more training — I use consistent routines, positive reinforcement, and clear communication with parents to support smooth transitions. I also prepare healthy meals and snacks, and I’m happy to help with light housekeeping and laundry to keep your home organized and comfortable. My schedule opens up on 06/01. I’m excited to meet new families and build trusting, caring relationships. Thank you for reading — I’d love the chance to meet you and your family.

Our family moved so I could attend school for my masters degree. We were looking for someone to babysit our 3-month-old while I was in school and my husband worked. We worried about finding someone we could trust in a city qwhere we were brand new, but were absolutely blessed and thrilled to find Dannika! I wanted to take a minute to address her many attributes as a professional and person. The type of care Dannika provided for our daughter from the time she was 3-months-old to her toddler era was absolutely superb. Dannika took her on outings to local parks, the library, and on regular walks. They did art projects at home which resulted in adorable painted rocks, canvas paintings, and paper crafts that made us feel like she was coming home from school. They spent lots of time outside and reading books, which was perfect for us because we find it so important that she not be inundated with screen time. Dannika’s communication skills are reliable and timely. This is perfect for parents who want regular updates on their kid, with texts outlining important information about her eating, sleeping, and potty habits during the day. We received so many sweet pictures that assured us that she was having a great day! She also was wonderfully flexible with her time and had the ability to pick up our daughter if we ever needed it. Dannika is entirely trustworthy and professional and we could not more highly recommend her for any endeavor she might pursue.
