Sharing our experience, Just for folks who hire to be aware of Jaida had committed for close to one and half months starting Oct1st 22, and before hiring itself I had asked her, commitment is the first thing I need. If she comes for 2 days and leaves I will have to scramble for child support last moment and we would rather prefer not to proceed. Exactly the same situation happened, she came for 2 days and 3rd day morning unfortunately her family called in sick and we asked her to take a break and be with family as we were concerned for her. Surprisingly later at night we got a text saying that she doesn't want to be an inconvenience for us with the ongoing situation and will not be able to continue.; instead of taking a break till the weekend or giving an option to rejoin the next week. while we totally understand she needs to be with her family if they have fallen sick, the text message to discontinue without any apology was surprising as that was the exact ask from our side multiple times before hiring, did not even consider to call, and yes needless to say we struggled for last minute child support. During the initial connect when we met , talked through the req and the first 2 days ramp up time, she seemed to be a person who knows the importance of childcare and the attention that it needs, took baby for walk in the evenings in stroller. But inspite of giving detailed nanny instructions, to be clean around her toys as my baby was 6months around the time and putting every toy in her mouth, it was caught on camera later after she left, stepping on to the bed with her foot, and moved toys with her foot to make space in bed prior to putting her to bed to sleep!!! which was absurdly shocking for us!! Needless to say I was glad she left as we got very good nannies after that.
