My name is Claudette Cayetano, and I am a Registered Nurse (R.N.) who is taking a break from nursing because of studying for the NCLEX (nursing exam).. If you are wondering why I am studying for the NCLEX, that is because I recently moved to the U.S. from the Philippines to be with my husband. I have valid legal status to be here in the U.S. so do not worry about that. However, the California Board of Nursing (CBN) has very strict guidelines in regards to International Nurses. As a result, I have to take an exam and possibly up to 30 units more to satisfy the CBN requirements. That is why taking a nanny/babysitting position would be ideal so that I could study for the NCLEX during the weekends or late nights while I work (during the day) for a position like yours. I have open availability. Nevertheless, I Read more have worked over six months in the Maternity Nursing department and have a lot of experience dealing with children. Obviously, as a nurse, I am CPR and First-Aid certified and I have worked exclusively in the Maternity Department (newborns through infants).
