I am down here in Southern California for school, I attend Cal State University, Fullerton and I am entering my 5th and final year. In my sophomore and junior years of school, I was a nanny for an infant girl, born just a week before my first day, and a 1.5 year old boy. I had so much fun caring for the little girl and watching her grow. The boy was so fun to play with, his mom often asked if I would take him to the park which I loved doing, we would go to the mall and get balloons from Nordstrom and smoothies. The family could no longer afford to keep my as a nanny, but they still invite me over for fun, and I see them quite frequently. I also have 6 cousins, who are all younger than me. When I was in high school, I used Read more to watch them (not all at one time), but in groups and I would take them all on walks. they were ages 6-12 at the time, but I had so much fun. I have realized that I thoroughly enjoy being around kids. They make me forget the adult duties that come with growing up. They make the job easy and I just love having it as a job. I am currently a server at Lucilles BBQ in Torrance, CA. I am living in Hermosa Beach. My current job is flexible, and I am able to work just Friday-Sunday there. My school schedule is 8:30am-12:45pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, although its in Fullerton, so leaving time for commuting would give me an available 2pm start time.
