I am a 4th year student at San Jose State University looking to work while home over the summer, starting in June. I grew up in South Orange County and am very familiar with the area. Along with Communicative Disorders & Sciences, I am minoring in Special Education. I am also an active member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, and I currently hold two leadership positions within my chapter. I have worked with children in various capacities for years. I underwent a counselor-in-training program at my childhood summer camp, which I attended for 11 years. There, I worked with kids aged 12-13 years old and I helped organize and put on activities for large groups of campers. I oversaw schedules and was responsible for taking campers from one area of camp to the next. I have also babysat over the course of 3-4 years, the youngest child I cared for Read more being 5 months old and the oldest being 5 years old. I've always loved working with kids and hope to do so in my future as well. I am CPR/First Aid/AED Certified and I also have my Certificate of Clearance through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
