The summer I entered high school I became a summer camp counselor. As a counselor, my responsibilities included taking kids to the park, on field trips such as the movies, swimming, the zoo, etc., creating arts and crafts for the kids, and running cooking, sports, and art workshops with them. I loved this job so much that I worked there every summer until I graduated high school and once I graduated they offered me a part time job to be the summer coordinator. As a coordinator, I oversaw the entire camp, engaging with kids ages ranging from entering kindergarten to graduating high school. Through this job I found my love for working with children and helping them develop. With those, I decided to pursue a career in occupational therapy.
