Hi everyone! I am McKenzie, a resident of the Redlands area. From a young age, I have always had a natural inclination towards caring for others, particularly those younger than me. Being the eldest among my siblings and cousins, I took on the responsibility of nurturing and looking after them. In my junior year of high school, an exciting opportunity presented itself when my neighbor entrusted me with the care of her children. This marked the beginning of my eight-year journey as a babysitter, providing intermittent support and care to various families. Over the past two and a half years, my role as a lead behavioral technician has revolved around supporting children on the autism spectrum and those with developmental delay in Lake Elsinore. However, it didn't take long for me to realize that working with children was not just a job but a truly rewarding experience. I enjoy connecting Read more with families on a personal level and devising enjoyable, inclusive activities that not only entertain but also foster their learning and development. I thoroughly enjoy working with individual families and designing enjoyable and inclusive activities for children that also promote learning. However, I am planning to relocate back to the Redlands area, which necessitates a career transition. Excitingly, I have recently enrolled in a graduate program to pursue a Masters in Education and obtain my Special Education Teaching Credential. I have a genuine love for children and a deep passion for the work that I do. It brings me immense joy and fulfillment, making it the most rewarding job for me. I am excitedly looking forward to meeting both you and your children!
