My name is Monica Danney. I am a professional nanny working in the field for several years now. I have raised one child, who is in his twenties now and is currently living in my country. Originally from Czech Republic, Europe, I moved to San Diego 10 years ago with my husband. Since then, I was taking care of children. First, there were children of my friends, later, it became my work. From 2-month-old, wearing dippers, up to 11 years old, our activities vary. I like to take them outside to playground, teach alphabet and words, or help with homework the older ones. I have been working only for one family past four years, taking care of their little girl named Gracie since she was one year old. She is now attending a regular kindergarten program and I am looking for a new family I could work with. I’m friendly, Read more honest and responsible. When taking care of children, I treat them like they were mine. My priority is safety, I am reliable and patient. Kids need to grow up healthy, so I prefer to feed them healthy food and drinks. Watching the iPad or a movie time is always limited, we read books instead. In my last family, we also used to cook together and sometimes I took Gracie to our house where she enjoyed swimming. My friends also asked me to teach their kids Czech, my mother language, which I have been doing with a lot of enthusiasm and success. The little boy who I helped back in 2013 is a great example and his mom is one of the references below. My hobby which became partly a profession is cooking European food. I also like to read, travel and meet with friends. I live in Santee and can drive to any location in San Diego. However, due to a traffic situation in rush hours we all know, the closer locations would be more suitable. I have a reliable transportation, California and European clean driver license, CPR certification and a background check. I also have US citizenships.
