I am up to date on current trends such as Baby-led weening and other new techniques. I maintain a log so that the parents know what is happening with their young children. The log includes food and milk intake, diaper activity, nap length, and any observations that need to be passed on. I also take children to parks and pools or other activities. I am vaccinated and Covid careful. I also have multiple references from my past nanny positions. I have a pre-school and art program that I have developed and use currently. I enjoy working with children and building their confidence using music and art. I like to include active learning exercises that keep the children engaged. Singing is a constant part of my day-to-day interaction with the children I care for. I have 5 large Rubbermaid containers filled with games, art supplies, pre-school lessons and a storyboard with many different stories. All geared to develop confidence and build their learning capabilities. My rate is based not only on the market rate but hours and needs. When you hire me you are getting a professional that also becomes part of the family. I am currently looking for a position that is no less than 20 hours and no more than 40 hours a week.
