I have a great deal of experience with children of all ages. I have four younger sisters, including one with special needs, who is deaf, and one who is diabetic. I have babysat for single-child and multi-children families of kids ranging in ages from less than one year to 15 years old for the last 15 years, including children with learning disabilities and ADD/ADHD. I worked as a summer camp counselor for three summers and as a lifeguard and tutor for seven years. I speak English, Spanish, American Sign Language, and Signing Exact English, and I am presently learning French. I was previously certified as a lifeguard and have had American Red Cross certifications in CPR, First Aid, Oxygen/AED Administration, and Blood-Borne Pathogens; however, I have not renewed these as of late. I have my B.A. in Political Science, my B.S. in Psychology, Spanish minor, and an MBA with concentration Read more in Management Information Systems, and I just finished law school, earning a J.D. with Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research and Drafting in May 2014. I just moved here from Georgia in late December/early January to pursue my Master of Laws in International Law at the University of San Diego, where I am also completing an unpaid internship for credit with the school's Legal Clinic in Immigration Law and awaiting the results of the February 2015 California Bar Exam. I am looking to pick up babysitting/nannying as a way to make ends meet while I am finishing school through at least December 2015 and possibly May 2016.
