Hello! 😊 I'm a seasoned babysitter and licensed childcare professional with a heart full of passion for working with children, teens, and people of all ages! With six years of experience under my belt, I've had the privilege of making a difference in the lives of kids of all ages and abilities. My journey started in the world of ABA behavioral therapy, where I provided valuable therapy and respite support to children, teenagers, and adults with special needs like autism and down syndrome. The connections I built with my clients and their families remain extremely special and meaningful to me, and I still continue to connect with them and check in, even after moving jobs. Working with special needs kids and adults prepared me to move quickly and always be ready for anything, with either watching your child and making sure they’re safe or coming up with a new activity Read more to keep everyone happy and entertained! After my ABA experience, I transitioned into the role of an after-school daycare teacher at the YMCA, where I had the joy of working with preschoolers and kindergarteners primarily. I also lent a hand in 2nd-5th grade classrooms as an assistant teacher, adding even more variety to my childcare skill set. My specialty in the classroom was keeping everything colorful, whether it was our class pinboards or doing an art project, I always have something in mind to keep things fun! I just moved to San Diego from Los Angeles in July. After receiving two Associate’s degrees, I transferred and am currently working on my Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences at San Diego State (and loving it!). I am currently learning American Sign Language, and can understand Russian but am not the best speaker. I have a clean driving record with no accidents and can provide my CA State DMV record on request. Additionally, I can provide copies of my CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as any other documents you may require! I can also provide crafting supplies, games, and educational tools such as PEC boards if necessary. What sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for kids. I genuinely love being a sitter because it allows me to be a part of a child's growth and development while having a blast doing it. Your child's well-being and happiness are my top priorities, and I can't wait to be a positive influence in their life. Let's embark on this exciting journey together! 💫
