I have been working in an after school childcare program for about 4 years now and I absolutely love it. I worked as a Child Care Specialist so I helped manage staff and implement new crafts and game activities into the program. I deal with groups of children ranging from 80-120 kids a day. The passion I have working with kids is not something that has grown overtime but has been a constant in my life, it seems like I have just always known that I wanted to work with kids. I am currently studying at Cal Poly Pomona to be a teacher and I am excited to be in the classroom with children as well.
