Hello! I am going back to school in my late 20's and looking to care for children as a way to supplement my income. I have worked at the YMCA and been around children all my life. I was in Girl Scouts and was an assistant leader. I was a Student Ambassador and part of student government for my current college and helped high school kids sign up for college. I have done touring theatre shows in different elementary, middle, and high schools. On a personal level, I have babysat for my family and other families for at least the last 15 years. I am the oldest of 8 children (adopted, step, etc) and have always been the responsible one that takes care of everyone. I think kids - though sometimes difficult - are wonderful to work with and take patience, understanding, and an optimistic personality to care for them.
