I am a mother of 2 young men (college age) so I have had hands on experience with all ages. My house tended to be the go-to house for my boys and their friends. I have also dropped off and picked their friends up from practices, games, school, etc.--so their parents trust me and I have a clean driving record. (In addition to babysitting in my teens, my brother is 10 years younger than me so I also helped watch him and drove him around when I was younger). Within the last couple of years, I have watched infants (6 mo-walking) for a mom's church group (3 hours every other week), a 10 mo. old (3 hours each week), some date night babysitting (preschool/elementary) and helped a family (about 10 hours a week--preschool/elementary). I also enjoyed helping out in the class room Read more for a couple of hours a week, when my boys were in elementary school-- and I am willing to help with homework. I enjoyed reading stories, playing games, doing puzzles etc.(all good developmental tasks) with my boys when they were young. We also used to do arts/crafts (in fact I have part of a cabinet devoted to supplies). Each age has something special to offer--and each child is unique. Whether it's chilling out and watching movies, having a snack and chatting, or doing an activity (like one of the ones above)-- I would love to experience it again! In addition, we have a dog and have had cats in the past. I love pets; they are like family too--so pets are not an issue. I have also had a general background check run within the last couple of years as well (on a different site) that I can make available.

Michelle is an awesome babysitter. She was prompt, informative, and flexible before the babysitting job. She was likable and responsible and my 10 year old really enjoyed being with her. She kept us informed as the night progressed enabling us to fully enjoy our time. One of the best, highly recommended.
