Hello! My name is Alanie and I'm 20 years old. I am CPR/first aid certified, I have my license, I do not smoke and am currently attending CSULB for a degree in design. I've had 3 years of actual babysitting experience. However, growing up, I was trusted with taking care of many younger family members of ranging ages, on different occasions. Straight out of high school, I was trusted with taking care of a 6 y/o girl, for 4 days/30 hours a week. A few times, I was trusted with also watching her younger sister (2 y/o), so I'm comfortable with multiple children. During our days, I'd make their meals and we'd do fun activities, like go swimming. I'd always make sure to clean them up, as well as the house, if we ever made a mess. I'm willing to collaborate with changing schedules to better help/support your family. I Read more am willing to discuss any other specific things each family might need help with (meal prep, light housework, errands, homework help). Child care is a big passion of mine, so I’m trying to get more experience while I have free time during school. On top of that, I just love helping people. Alanie was amazing with our 5 month old teething son. Alanie was prompt replying to all of my messages on and off the website and confirmed the night prior. She was very professional and personable with our family. She even brought toys and played with him for 4 hours. He loved playing with her and felt so comfortable he took a nap while she was holding him. They read books and also worked on a few milestone goals like sitting and rolling over. Alanie was amazing and will definitely use again. We already have her booked for 3 days a week moving forward.
