I began babysitting my next door neighbor’s two rough and tumble boys when I was 12. That is where my love of working with kids began. In high school, I began peer tutoring in the special education department during my junior year and when I graduated, they had a teaching assistant job waiting for me where I accompanied and aided a young lady in the life skills classroom and her other mainstream classes. That ended when My dream came true and we began having children of our own. I was blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom and as the kids reached school ages, we began our homeschool journey. They are now both in high school (still homeschooling) and working independently for most subjects. This means they need me less and less and that I need something to keep me from being unproductive during the day.
