Hi! I’m Melani, I am an experienced child caregiver with over 8 years of experience. I started babysitting for family and friends when I was 16. I transitioned over to being a respite work, providing 1 on 1 care for kiddos with physical and mental disabilities when I was 18. At 20 I began working with children who were displaced and in the foster care system at a residential care facility. Now at 24 I have worked for SDUSD for 3.5 years supporting students with special needs in the classroom setting. All these years of working closely with children has taught me to be a more compassionate, caring and patient person. I do not think I would be who I am today without these experiences.
