Hello, I am my AA in sociology/social behavior. Also, I am doing my bachelors in social work at the moment. I love to work with children of all ages. Since I was a kid I always helped my family members with their kids and helped out in anyway that was needed. In 2017, I worked with autistic kids which was my first job working with children and I really enjoyed being able to help them with progressing in their programs and I also worked at Sierra College where I got to help disabled students in their classrooms. In 2018 I got a job at a day care to get more experience with working with kids. I got to work with a whole range of age groups from 3 weeks to 5th grade. I would assistant the teachers throughout the day in their classrooms with the children in different actives, eating, Read more changing clothes/diapers. Once the after school kids would come then I would become their after school teacher and we would have speech time, activities, games, reading and free time for them. Helping children achieve something in life is my goal and passion that is why I want to become a social worker and that way I can help children. Also, being a babysitter gives me an additional opportunity in helping children as well.
