I have been trusted and responsible for the care of children since I was 10 years old! I became a full-time nanny for many wonderful families starting in my early 20s. For the past decade, I have been living in Australia, and nannied for the same family for the entire time I lived there. Their oldest son was two when I began, and I have the humble privilege of being with them through the birth of two amazing children! They became family, and to this day, are some of the most wonderful people I have ever grown to know. Unfortunately due to the Australian fires and then the pandemic, I was forced to return to California and the states because of strict border closures in the country. My family lives in Livermore, the Midwest, and the East Coast. One of the most rewarding families I worked with had a son Read more who was born with low muscle tone, and with their trust and confidence in me to administer his physical therapy (as mum worked for Google and needed to return to work ASAP), we were able to help him meet and EXCEED his goals and percentage within the 3 months I was working for them! What an absolute highlight and honour that was. Another family was struggling to motivate their two year old daughter to speak, and with patience and meeting her where she was, by the end of my time with them (6 months,) she was talking up a storm! Her confidence as a little human grew and so did her affection towards myself and others. the family and I were grateful for our time together. I also have experience working for professional athletes and showing discretion when working alongside their family. My life is truly blessed because of children (all the ages, cultures, and backgrounds) that I have been able to serve!
