Being the oldest of 6 siblings you learn a lot about babies, toddlers, children, and teens. You learn what makes them cry, laugh, and how to deal with different situations. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters. I've learned so much from helping my parents raise them. After seeing all my siblings grow and prosper, I know this, caring for children, brings me joy. I love spending time to get to know them and hearing all their crazy stories. While in high school, I took a child developmental class for 6 months. We were assigned a group of kids to handle for the duration we were there. I was in charge of 6 1st graders and our tasks for each day were different: arts and crafts, math skills, writing and reading, and sometimes team building on the playground. Hired Sonya to watch the boys for a dinner date. Sonya showed up on time, and reassured us that everything was going to be fine. The boys had a blast, when we got back they were all doing a puzzle and the boys were sad to see her leave! Great experience. At our first meeting Sonya told us all about herself which helped in our decision to move forward with her. Thanks again Sonya!

Recently used Sonya as a babysitter for a date night with my husband. Sonya is a great find! She arrived on time (actually a little early! ). Has a great personality and established rapport with my kids (boys ages 1, 3) right away. And she even left the house cleaner and more organized than when she arrived! My 3-yr old said he had a great time playing with Sonya and liked her a lot :) I will totally use her again and recommend her to all my friends!
