Hello there, My name is Alicia and my favorite things to do are spend time with friends and family, going on adventures, watching movies, and going to Disneyland! I love working in child care because it is so rewarding! It can be rewarding in many aspects such as academically, socially and emotionally, or even in basic things like teaching them how to ride a bike! I believe having fun and being safe are super important when it comes to taking care of a child. I would love to hear from you! I started babysitting when I was 13 years old, mostly just family such as my little sister and cousins. During my senior year of high school summer, I volunteered with the YMCA as a camp counselor. We would stay in big bear for a week and I would oversee 10 girls in my cabin. After high school, started working Read more with LAUSD and soon after, Boys and Girls Club and a private school called The Knowing Garden. I am First Aid and CPR certified. I love teaching art and cooking with the kiddos. Feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you. 😊
