I have a passion for working with children. I am caring, creative and patient. I have my associates degree in Child Development and Psychology. I also have certificates of accomplishment in both assistant and associate teaching . I am currently majoring Psychology at California State University, Long Beach and plan to recieve my teacher credential soon after. I plan to be an elementary school teacher. I have plenty of experience working with children. At the age of 15, I began babysitting. At 17, I began a 6 month internship at the Jewish Community Center of Long Beach Preschool. Soon after, I began to mentor k-2nd graders at Hudson elementary through Long Beach Blast. I am currently work at the Long Beach Unified School District as a college aide. I work with high school students with mild disabilities and help them gain life skills and employment.
