I worked for LA County of Education for four years caring for children with special needs and delinquents. I provide service and support to students with special needs to achieve their academic and personal potential, with the greatest chance for successful independent living and also individual teaching to delinquent and abandoned youths who are incarcerated in the County's Juvenile Halls. I also assist with needs that often include physical, behavioral and emotional responsiveness, feeding, toileting, and dressing if necessary. Currently I work for Lynwood School District as A Special Needs Assistant Assisting the teacher with implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEP's) through instruction in a variety of activities. Providing guidance for students in various areas including academic learning, vocational, social and leisure skills, physical development and fitness and personal hygiene. During the time at lynwood, I also work part time at Cambrian homecare for three years providing home care for Read more children with special needs. I am cpr and first aid certified.
