Meet Amy

  • Comfortable with pets

Hi! My name is Amy MacKay. I am a people person with an incredible work ethic and a deep passion for working with kids. Since starting my own babysitting company as a teenager I've continued on to help a number of families of all shapes and sizes with children ranging in ages from five months to eleven years old. While earning my bachelors degree in Fine Arts and Sociology from Bard College, I worked at the local nursery school where I developed a love for early childhood education and developed my skills in positive behavior management and conflict resolution. Since graduating I have gone on to teach at the Oxbow School and the Making Waves Education Program, and also nannied for a number of families whom I remain connected to today. In this time I have consistently proven to be dependable, nurturing, and creative in my approach to youth development. Read more Through and through, I am a caretaker. If given the opportunity, I would love to be a support to you and your family.
