Hello, My name is Nekia Martin and I am very interested in a babysitter position seeing as I work very well with children. I am a college graduate who earned my bachelors in theatre in NYC. While in NY I was a member of an organization called Project Sunshine which allows volunteers like myself to participate in activities with children who have a disability or suffer from life threatening illnesses. The program has allowed me to communicate with children through reading and hands on activities even when they cannot communicate orally. I must also mention that I have two younger siblings who are now 8 and 5 years old that I have taken care of quite often. I grew up taking care of children since I was a teenager. My mom is an active foster parent who later adopted my two younger siblings. I am registered as a secondary caregiver Read more in New York while I assisted my mother in caring for so many children. I enjoy helping children learn and considered being a teacher until I was bit by the acting bug. I know that I can bring fun personality and care in being responsible for your children.
