Hey there, my name is Karen. During my academic career, I've managed to accrue nearly nine years of childcare experience working with various families and organizations. While attending CSULA, I volunteered at our daycare center, "Centro de Ninos Y Padres," helping parents of young children with special needs transition into preschool. And along this journey, I occurred a position as a Behavioral Interventionalist in ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) for a private agency. My experience as a B.I. has allowed me to provide services to children with autism and other developmental disorders. I've also been an employee of L.A.'S Best, an afterschool program funded by the Los Angeles Unified School District. I worked with children from grades K-5th, providing homework assistance, enrichment, and recreational activities. Nonetheless, I occasionally continue to offer babysitting services. I am CPR/ First Aid Certified 4/13/19- 4/13/2021 I have reliable transportation that is insured.
