Hi! My name is Jules and I'm from Yonkers, New York. I moved to Los Angeles two years ago, after graduating from Boston University's College of Communications. I've spent my time in LA working primarily in Customer/Client services, and have 100% open availability this summer. A bit about me: I grew up with a younger brother who has special needs. He is an extremely bright, talented, and impactful influence on my life, and has largely shaped me into the person I am today. Helping to take care of and learning from him was what initially introduced me to childcare and nurturing. My Experience: My initial, official babysitting/nannying job began when I was 16. I was a Mother's Helper about 3-4 times a week for two years. The children were ages 6 and 8, the elder an autistic child. My responsibilities included picking up the kids from school, making dinner, bath, Read more homework, playtime and bedtime (along with various medical and behavioral practices for the eldest). Aside from occasional babysitting jobs here and there, my other consistent and long-term experience was this past year in Boston. I was a full-time nanny during the summer for two girls, ages 7 (years) and 18 months. I spent the majority of that time with the younger child, and her older sister usually joined us later in the day after summer camp. My responsibilities included running errands, housework, picking up and dropping off the girls at various engagements, planning fun and activity filled days, cooking meals, homework and bedtime.
