Hi there! My name is Katie. I'm 27 years old, a graduate of UC Berkeley (and before that, Agoura High School) and have over 15+ years in childcare and coaching. I recently left my job in the business side of the entertainment industry, and have set out to pursue my own writing aspirations. I live in Los Feliz, but am super flexible and have a car. I'd love to be considered for any open babysitting/nanny jobs. I'm very good with kids, highly active, engaging, FUN, and responsible. I love to play/teach sports, lead acting games (putting on skits, etc), read aloud, and cook! I'm CPR certified, and would be happy to provide references upon request. Katie has watched my 8 year old daughter twice now and I am so thankful we found her. She is incredibly engaging, she taught my daughter the basics of lacrosse, did art, made up funny voices for storytelling, played board games and piano..... needless to say my daughter is a HUGE fan of Katie!! As a mom I appreciate that Katie showed up on time and was prompt to respond via text with availability, updates, etc. My daughter does not typically like being babysat but with Katie she can't wait for the next time I have an engagement to attend.
