hello! my name is ashley sánchez! i'm a graduate from california institute of the arts and received my undergraduate degree in acting. i was born and raised in san diego but shifted back to los angeles and am looking for ways to fill my time with work that brings me joy, hopefully to do with young kids and arts education. i grew up with a number of younger nephews and nieces, so i've been around, and or have always helped out with younger children for a majority of my life. i have worked as a caretaker since highschool. i have been a caretaker for children anywhere from infancy through about twelve years old. i am accustomed to helping out with homework, preparing snacks or meals, playing games, readings books, helping guide creative activities, preparing children for bed, as well as spending time outside. as someone who is always looking for Read more ways fill my time with creative and flexible activities, caretaking for children has always seemed like a challenging, yet fulfilling opportunity to learn not only more about children, but about myself as well. the training i received through my degree taught me how to be a improvisor and a team player. that in combination with my caretaking experience, makes me feel more than capable to spend time with children and not only be a caretaker to them, but a friend. i like to cook and am fluent in spanish, in the case that it's a priority that your child keep on a track of bilingual learning, or in the case that you even want to introduce a second language to them.
