Hello Parents! My name is Annabel Barrett. I’m a 26 year old, NYC transplant, out in LA to continue my career as an actor and child acting coach, teaching techniques to kids and teens using the empathy and empowerment. I have experience both personally and professionally with kids ranging from 2-teen: I have been a part-time nanny for many different families in the NYC area, as well as engaged with my own goddaughter, and her sister throughout their lives. I have a strong Buddhist practice, which gives me experience with both mindfulness and cognitive behavior skills, and I enthusiastically bring those skills into both my life and the lives of those around me, with goals to build a business. I absolutely love children! I love helping them grow and explore, I can be quick to see conflicts arise interpersonally between siblings, and am comfortable helping them work out their issues, Read more or simply express themselves appropriately. I am playful, attentive, caring, compassionate, active, responsible, and have a general enthusiasm for life, including life’s difficulties. I am looking to nanny for either one or two families, depending on their needs. I am located in Silver Lake and would love to have a family that is an easy commute from that area, as I uber all over Los Angeles. I am incredibly organized, and can usually manage pop-up auditions well, but it’s important to me that we can both communicate openly to one another. I am very excited to meet families and see if we are the right fit for each other. All the Best, Annabel Barrett
