Hey! My name is Sarah and I have been working with kids for the past 5 years. I have worked in an elementary school with kids aging from 6-13. During those 5 years I was able to teach kids and work with them creatively in a before/after school program called C.A.R.E. During the summer, I was able to work with kids at a summer camp. I was a swim instructor for kids with ages ranging in 4-14. I went to college at Illinois State University and was able to get a degree in English. While in school, I was able to take Early Childhood Education courses and observe classrooms in Chicago, Springfield, and Bloomington-Normal. After graduating I was able to get a job with the C.A.R.E. program in a suburb of Chicago. I worked with 3 schools (all that used the same program).
