Hello my name is Maggie I have been working caring and assisting people through out my entire working life. I started as a live in counselor for the development mentally disabled ages 8 to 65 for five years. Then I cared for a quadriplegic young adult girl which I assisted her with bathing, feeding, dressing, transferring from a to b. And taking her to therapy. Then I carried on to working for I.H.S.S (in home support services) as a care provider for the elderly helping with life's daily living. From there I was given the opportunity to assist a young family with their newborn. I babysat the 2 brothers 2 month old and 3yr.old for 2 years unfortunately the family relocated to Portland. Never having children of my own I found this job rewarding a opportunity to live the role of motherhood. I have all the patience and gentleness . It breaks my Read more heart to see them cry so I make it my goal to keep them from crying by feeding changing and putting them to sleep and never walk away until the baby is sound asleep. I keep track of their growth according to what is expected for every month. last I worked with a 3month old til he turned 2 1/2 yrs. Being a mom is I believe to be a tough job physically and mentally and need support that's where I come in and help mom's with whatever it is to make life easier for her. I consider myself to be a upbeat person with a positive simple life. Dedicated and trustworthy. I do my job not for the amount that's paid but more for the joy and love that and heart fulfilling memories built . I.put the children's best interest before anything. Im a thoughtful person and I like to help in any way . organized clean is in my nature. Thank you for your time hope to work with you
