Hi! My name is Jennifer(Jenn) and I’m currently seeking part-time work to keep me busy as I work towards getting my Personal training business off the ground. I love children, teaching, and learning! I am going into my fourth year as a substitute teacher for k-12 students—have worked in many areas across CA. Aside from my love for teaching, I have a love for caring for children and ensuring that they are happy, healthy & cared for. I’m currently 24 and have been babysitting and caring for kids since I was about 15 years old, so the experience years are honestly more thorough. From caring from my multiple nieces (2 at a time), caring for my prematurely born brother when he left the NICU (he’s 8 now and awesome!), to tutoring at after-school programs (grade k-6), I can guarantee that I have a tremendous amount of childhood care experience and Read more all the changes that come as children grow. I’m also extremely confident in my ability to make kids gravitate towards me & my caring & fun energy overall. I can also assist in daily household duties and whatever necessary. I have a cat of my own and have owned dogs in the past, so am comfortable around animals. My achilles heel in the childcare world is that I do not have my own car or license, so I am not able to transport children on my own. However, I do have knowledge of using Lyft/Uber apps if necessary and have an amazing boyfriend who would be able to assist me with transportation of children if ABSOLUTELY necessary and if confirmed/okay with family.
