I have been babysitting since I was 12 years of age. There were a lot of younger kids on my block growing up and I was the oldest in the neighborhood so many of the families would ask me to babysit for them. In the beginning it was mostly babysitting on the weekend while the parents went on dates nights and eventually it turned into babysitting for a couple of families full-time. One family in particular had three kids with severe ADHD and needed someone to be with their kids all day because they both worked full-time. I worked for this family for a little over 8 months before I went off to college. I was responsible for drop off/pick up from school, transport to after school activities, meal preparation, house cleaning and homework assistance. Once a week I would take them to swim practice. I was also a camp Read more counselor for a private art camp in my home town. I was responsible for a group of 12 girls ranging in ages 8-11. I am CPR certified and I have a lot of experience with kids ranging from 5 months-12 years of age.
