Hello everyone! I am an LA native that left temporarily to get an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, then returned post-grad for my first full-time job. I am currently unemployed, taking a break until I search for another full-time role. I enjoy working with children - they're so full of life, often hilarious, joyful and energetic. Not saying that I'm old but I do miss my childhood. In terms of informal babysitting experience, I have a younger sister that I grew up with and many close family friends' children that I have looked after. In terms of paid babysitting experience, I have connected with several families through this site. I was a short-term, regular babysitter for several families in both LA and the Bay Area locations. One summer, I babysat for two families simultaneously, taking care of four children (ages 4, 6, 8, 8) while the parents worked from home. Read more During my undergraduate in the Bay Area, I occasionally babysat two siblings, a brother and a sister, playing games and taking them to the park. During summer post-grad, I also babysat two children, an older sister and younger brother, after they came home from summer camp, entertaining them with play pretend, watching them in the pool, ensuring they finished their workbooks, and fixing the occasional snack. That same summer, I played pretend market, doctor and princess, colored in the lines and worked on reading with a 4 year old girl and her two doggies. Since I am unemployed, my schedule is pretty flexible. I am willing to do any activities such as arts and crafts, playing dress-up or house, bake sweets (or healthy treats), any errands or places you would need me to take the children, or cook simple meals. In my free time, I listen to music, watch movies/shows on Netflix, exercise at the gym, or practice casual photography and editing (on my phone). Fun Fact: I know a little bit of Spanish.
