ABOUT ME: I've always been passionate about human interactions and getting to know other people and their stories. That's why I went into journalism. I also find that the people with some of the best stories have been children. I've enjoyed getting to care for, teach and mentor children through babysitting, nannying and serving as a sports journalism camp counselor. I enjoy planning fun activities, so with me, children are never bored! As much as I love helping children grow and develop, I'm even more grateful for how much the children I care help me continue to learn and grow! BACKGROUND: I am originally from New Jersey, but moved out to LA for college. As I have mentioned before, I am very passionate about storytelling (so I'll make a great bedtime storyteller), pop culture, football, and planning fun adventures and meals for children! Creativity and communication are my strong suits! Read more My hobbies include going to USC football games, the beach, fun museums or exhibits, trying new foods and restaurants, taking hikes, and traveling around the world! I'm looking forward to meeting the next family I get to work with! CARE EXPERIENCE: I have about three years or so of babysitting/ nannying experience. I used to nanny for three children ages 3, 7 and 12 for about a year. I ran errands for the mother, took the kids to their respective after school activities, prepared meals, helped with homework and did light cleaning. I also babysat for a family in my town that had two children with autism-- one was verbal and the other was non-verbal. I also babysat and did pick ups and drops for family in my neighborhood as well. Lastly, I was trained and received my Home Health Aide License in the state of New Jersey (although I have not renewed it since moving out of the state of NJ).
