Hi, my name is Shakila. I graduated with honors from Cal State LA majoring in Child Development for my Bachelors. Being the eldest daughter coming from a family with 6 kids with a working mother, I have been responsible for taking care of children my whole life. At home, I was the primary caregiver for my siblings from 2-16 years old. This included cooking them dinner, packing their lunches, supervising play dates, helping with school work, and taking them to any practices or afterschool activities. I also have over six years of professional childcare experience, working as a teacher's assistant at Palms Elementary and after school staff at El Marino Elementary. In addition, I have spent over 50 hours volunteering in a preschool. I have my own car that is safe and reliable to provide transportation for your kids to and from any activities. Furthermore, I am CPR and First Read more Aid Certified. I would be more than happy to cook them meals, do light housekeeping, and tutor your kids in any classes they are struggling with.
