Hi! My name is Betty Christianson, and I just recently finished my degree at Colorado State University. I grew up in Kansas City, KS and just recently moved to Santa Monica. I have been babysitting for 11 years miss it since being here, I am looking for opportunities to spend some time with kiddos as I find it very fulfilling. I’d describe myself as creative, outdoorsy, and outgoing. I started working with kids from a very young age, because I have a big family and have always been the “mom” cousin who plays with and entertains the kids. I started officially babysitting when I was about 12, so 11 years ago. I am CPR certified and have babysat and nannied for multiple families. I have experience with all ages from newborn to high school. In my spare time, I like to get outside and go for hikes, play sports, be Read more creative, and spend time with people. One thing you should know about me is that I am fully committed to being an awesome babysitter, always having in mind the goal of giving the kids a fun-filled time and teaching good morals and habits while doing this. I also make it top priority to be responsible and keep the kids safe. It brings me so much joy to bring joy to the kids.

Betty has been such a blessing towards our family for almost 3 years! Having three girls under the age of 4, Betty really knows her stuff. Our girls constantly ask when miss Betty is coming over, she is always prepared with games, crafts, teachings and always goes above and beyond. Since our typical appointments are in the evenings around bedtime, Betty does such a great job with putting the girls to bed with no issues. We also have our newest baby girl and Betty is very experienced with newborns, she is an absolute natural. Betty is very accountable, is super positive and has a great work ethic. If you expect her to do certain small tasks or chores that are needing to be done, Betty always finds a way to finish them, even if you did not ask for them to be done. She is one of the most selfless persons I know. I HIGHLY recommend Betty for any of your sitting needs.
