I grew up in west LA and attended PS1 and Archer School for Girls, where I learned to play tennis, make pottery, and love learning. I graduated from Barnard College (Columbia University) with a B.A. in Sociology in spring 2021. Since then, I’ve been working in outdoor education and wilderness leadership, where I lead backpacking/hiking courses as a Field Instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School. Courses vary between one-week to one-month of wilderness living/travel/learning, and I work with students ages 13-18 years old. I have experience babysitting in LA, NYC, and teaching and caring for kids ages 13-18 in the wilderness of California, Alaska, Utah, and Wyoming. I have a Wilderness First Responder certification, which includes an Epinephrine Auto-Injector and Adult, Child, Infant CPR, AED, and Airway Management certification. I live in west LA and have a safe and reliable car. Currently, I’m working part-time for an education non-profit Read more and applying to human development/education master’s programs for fall 2024 enrollment. I’m available for part-time/occasional babysitting, pet sitting, and tutoring.
