I have previously babysat for several different families with 2-4 children at a time, both boys and girls, for 5 years (since I was 14 years old), however it has been a long time since I did so as I have been in college the past several years. I have 15 years of experience caring for large dogs, horses, and cats, and I have no problem at all having them around. I am very active and can keep up playing with several energetic kids, but am also content with watching movies and drawing or playing pretend with the kids. I believe curiosity is the most important thing to foster with kids and I love to hear them ask the question "why?". I'm upbeat and optimistic, and love to teach new things. I can assist in homework (I am currently a science major at UCLA and I have experience teaching younger Read more family members how to read).
