I have worked with kids for close to 6 years now and I can whole-heartedly say that I have enjoyed every second of it. I worked as a TA (teachers assistant) at a children’s center during college and it was one of the best experiences of my college career. I absolutely loved playing with the kiddos and supporting their creativity, but I have to say, the best part was being able to see them grow and be one of the people to support that growth (even in the smallest way). I cannot say enough how proud I felt when they finally wrote their name on their own, crossed the monkey bars without falling, poured themselves milk without spilling, or used their words to communicate when they felt sad or mad.
