My friend's nickname for me is Mary Poppins. I am firm and strict, and playful and whimsical at the same time. I have tons of experience working with children (babysitting-10years experience and teaching in schools-6years experience). I really love playing with kids, especially out doors. I love taking kids on walks to the park or the beach, where they can explore, play and see the world. I like reading books and building things (forts, blocks, etc). I am not the kind of babysitter who will put on TV/movies, unless that is what you want me to do. I make time during babysitting hours to prepare food for kids and the clean up the house, do laundry, or other basic house cleaning chores. I have childcare references if needed, but I am just beginning to use this website, so have no reviews on Sittercity yet.
