I love children they are my passion so I have decided to become a pediatric Nurse for my future career. I have had a lot of experience with children. I am the oldest of four kids and helped my mom raise my younger siblings. I have also provided child care for friends and family members ever since I was 16. I have been a professional nanny/babysitter for over 2 years and can provide references. In high school I took a course called child psychology where I learned a lot about children. In this course I learned how children think act and grow. This course really helped me understand child behavior better. In this course we also ran and observed a preschool program were I learned plenty of learning activities for kids . The course really helped me become a better child care provider. During my time in college I have Read more taken many child development courses that have truly made me a better child care provider. I have also worked at an after school program and provided care for the grades of kindergarten to 5th grade and learned how to implement more learning activities that were really fun! I am also fluent in Spanish so if you would like your children to learn another language at an early age I can definitely help with that! Currently I am a certified nurse assistant and work for a agency that provides in home care for the elderly and children with disabilities. I am also certified in CPR and Basic life support for healthcare providers.
