My responsibilities included the following: • Mentored a class of 20 after-school participants between the ages of 5-10 in the Oakland School Unified District • Developed weekly lesson plans that focused on core subjects that the students were learning • Implemented whole class and small group instructions that encourage social and academic growth • Assured the safety of the students at all times
